Dave Pedersen is currently the Senior Pastor at Fountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Port Elizabeth which he and Colleen started in 1984 in their home, after 9 years in Methodist ministry. Fountain Vineyard has served as a resource church for church plants in South Africa and beyond.
Dave’s heart is for church as an authentic community with the focus on healthy spirituality as well as nurturing and developing of leaders. He is a man on a mission, involved in missions across Africa and has a great love for Safaris into the African bush. He is passionate about helping Christians recover from burnout through the power and grace of the gospel and the Christian community.
His personal hobby is discovering recreation through chainsaw creativity, while Colleen is passionately developing doulas in support of healthy birthing. They have four children and 9 grandchildren.
In 2018 Dave and Colleen succeeded Costa and Lorraine Mitchell as the new National Directors of the Association of Vineyard Churches of South Africa.
